Today I had the opportunity to be a guest on Webcast One Live’s Insight on Business, with host, Michael Libbie. It was great fun and Michael is a great interviewer so here it is, I thought I’d share it with you:

standing in line for returns now begins.
But if you bought local and found “one of a kind”,
your family and friends knew you had them on your mind.
How thoughtful and loving they thought you to be,
when they opened your gift handcrafted by me!
I want to thank everyone who supported me in 2010. You have no idea how your encouragement, friendship and confidence in my artwork means to me. You are all a blessing in my life. Best wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2011. I look forward to many great designs I can share with you all.

I’ve never done this before and may never do it again, so make plans to come over and do some shopping. Tweet this to your friends and share it on Facebook so more people can partake in this one day discount.

Can’t wait to see who takes advantage of this big sale!
I am so excited to announce the launch of Just Beadiful Girlz, a limited edition collection of darling little girl dolls. They are each handmade from imported Italain glass, wire, and small glass beads and designed by me. They stand about 2 1/2″ tall and can be ordered in either a pendant style or pin.
The first Just Beadiful Girlz doll is “Noel” and she is a cutie. Noel has a lime green dress with candy cane trim. She’s wearing red and green stockings and has red curly hair. Each doll comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered by the artist. If you’re a collector of all things cute, then you won’t want to miss the opportunity to own Noel, who is the first in the series.
Visit the shop and order your Just Beadiful Girlz Noel doll before they are all gone.
The holiday season is an often stressful time of year. We feel pressure to be like Martha Stewart and make everything just right, say everything just right, look just right and have the perfect gift for everyone on our list. Sometimes this can become overwhelming and that can just add to your stress level. But lets face it, in today’s society, gifts are just part of the holiday. So . . . what do you give?
Dig deep and ask yourself, “what gift would make you truly happy, deep down inside happy?” Is it some big expensive gift? Oh sure, grand gifts are always a show of a persons wealth, or maybe it’s just their foolish spending habits.
I have some super great girlfriends who I love dearly. We are all very busy with our own lives and careers and sometimes we may not get to talk for a month at a time. But around this time of year, we try to make a point of getting together and catching up with each other over drinks and food. Yes, gifts are involved, but they are small and personal. It is mostly about our friendship and spending time with each other if only for an evening.
In this very fast paced world we live in, I think we can all say that we don’t get enough time with our friends and family to sit down and really catch up with them or whole heartedly listen to them. I think the best gift you can give a friend is your time. (and a great piece of one of a kind jewelry or art, made by me – that’s just the icing on the cake!)
What’s your favorite friend gift?

Thank you for your support throughout the year but especially during the holiday season when you can find a good deal anywhere but choose to shop local and small businesses instead.
I want to take just a moment to thank each and every one of you for your encouragement and support especially over the last year. I am extremely blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life. I’ve made so many new friends and clients over the past 12 months and I’m grateful for each of you in my life and my business. Without your support, I wouldn’t have the perfect job.
As we all sit down to feast this Thanksgiving with either family or friends, take a moment to reflect on the important people in your life and thank them for being there for you.
Thank you all!
Tonight I participated in a vendor opportunity for the Alliance of Business Owners “ABO”, in coordination with the graduation of ISED’s most recent business class. It reminded me of when I took the same business class and the excitement I felt upon completing it.
I thought then, and still think now that everyone in business should be required to take this class. As an artist, I don’t have the best business brain, but with the help of this business class, I am on the right track.
I had some good sales, great networking opportunities, and most of all the reminder that there is a lot of help out there for small and micro businesses.
What resources do you utilize as a small business?
